Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their fortnightly stock sale oil Wednesday, the yards were well filled with all classes of stock, and notwithstanding the continued dry weather, all sheep with the exception of one pen of wethers found purchasers' under the hammer, at rates slightly in favoi' of'purchasers! lit cattle all classes r were well represented, all •'changing bawls,' prices for beef boing still firm. Stores wke in good demand, all useful steers and young cattle selling freely. In horses a few good hacks changed hands. Pigs were easier. Fat ewes, ; 7s Gd j light, 6s 4d; forward ewes ; and withers, 7s 3d; forward ewes, 5s Id; store wethers, 5s 9d to 6s lOd; fat lambs, medium, 5s Gd; ewes and lambs, to aged iu the wool,, 7s 8d; hoggets, 5s lOd; beef, 2to 2f year steers, £6 ss; forward bullocks, £6; 2-year steers, 72s to 755, 18 months, 565; bulls, , 50s to £6; yearlings, 42s to 445; calves, 21s to 355; dairy heifers, 60s to 70s; cows, medium to £5, aged 30s to 60s; pigs, weauers, 5s to 10s; hacksto£6, ... ..
