He in a thoroughly practical inan ami says that vory few of the claims are obtaining really good returns, and the specimens about which so much fuss wai made, wcro not equal to somo obtained on Victorian goldlielda. He alleges that the accounts published are most cxtraramint and misleading and states that a certain wellknown company at Coolgardiu is said to bo purchasing gold from other Company's at an ndyanco of 2s (id on bank rates. He also states that the field is most unhealthy. Lokiiu.v, Novembor 20. There is much criticism in tina.ii cial circles at tho enormous amount of promoters profits demanded for tho Londonderry miuo at Coalgardie. The sum is throe hundred ami forty thousand, Tha Times warns tho public that tho mine ought to be fnlly tested beforo large investments are mailo, and considers that tho vendors aro asking toomnch,
