John Baxter Phillips, a lad of 12,-" of 99, Blytb-road, Stratford, was charged at West Ham with causing bodily harm to his .brother, Albert' Baxter Phillips, aged two, by biting him about tlio faco and body. The baby was on the bed. It was bleedingf rom wounds on the noso and fingors. The mother took ittb'Dr. Grogpno, the divisional surgeon, who found several; severe wounds on the face and body of the child, which seems to have been caused by bites. Search was mado for tho prisoner, and at about 10 o'clock lit night ho was found by his mother in tho Broadway, Stratford, and'was subsequently taken to tho police-station. The magistrate said the cuso was a difficult ono to deal with, andit seemed such an unnatural thing that ho would like to have tho prisoner' oxaminod. Ho would h committed for trial. ..,'''
