(By Telegraph.-Own Correspondent). P.uiiatoa, Thursday, A concert and dance in aid of the Cricket Olub of tho Mangatainoka Public School was held, hi tho Public Hall, there being ut largo attendance. A lengthy and varied mnsicnl programme was' gone through. MrC.E. Hall, M.ILR.,tho president delivered a short address by invittation.
The Leitch-McKenzie. Company played in the Pahiatua Public-Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday to a fair attendance. RlzGerald'llros' Circus and menagerie show hero on Thursday next, and strike M'aslerlbn on Saturday and Monday, 24th and 20th. Their show is said to be the best that has ever visited New Zealand. The proprietors aro young Australian Natives.
