Mr P. H. Wood reports as follows of the stock sale held by him at the Taratahi yards .yesterday Owing to the very stormy weather .entries were not numerous, attendance was fairly good, but the bidding was far from spirited: There was, however, an enquiry for 1 good hoggets and young ewes, Sales were, affected at thefollowingprices:—Sheep: Ewes in the wool (aged) and , lambs, 8s; fat'ewes, just off the shears, 7s lid. Cattle: Calves and yearlings, heifers 30s, steers 335; dairy cows, 65s .to 100s; heifers 655.
