Wellington U. Canterbury.
The inter-provincial match between Wellington and Canterbury commenced yesterday, the first innings only being played, Wellington making 146 runs and Canterbury 88, As the match stands at present Wellington has a lead of 58 runs on the first innings. The match was resumed at 10 o'clock this morning, Wkuinwon, Saturday, The cricket match Canterbury v. Wellington was resumed to-day. The weather is windy but fine. With a lead of 58 on tho first innings, Wellington began its second innings and at 11.55 had lost two wickets for 100. Cross scoring 59, including 12 fours.
