Owing to a difference of opinion with the Emperor ovor the antiSocialist measures, Count von Caprivi, the Imperial, Chancellor, lias resigned his position. Count von Eulcnberg, Minister for Interior, also forwarded his resignation for a liko reason, Both hare been accepted by tho Emperor,
October 28. Prince Holienlohe succeeds Count von Caprivi as Chancellor of the Gorman Empire, and Hew Koeller will take tho portfolio vacated by tho retirement of Count Eulcnberg.
