PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW.
Tho Manawatu and W,C. A. and P, Association's Show, held on Wednesday and Thursday was a big success. As regards tho entries the show is tho largest the Association has yet held. The total number of entries was 1134, which is 80 more than was received last year, and 208 more than was received in 1892,
Mr J. Devonshire's Mazoppa was adjudged the best carriage stallion; in Hereford's Mr OK Wheeler's bull Jubilee, bred by Mr J. Stuckey, of To Rnngitumau carried off the championship, Mr E.Burton,ofMastcrton,showed a six-horse power compound traction engine by Aveling and Porter, a milking machine with milk releaser by Nicholson and Gray,and a stumping machine and elevator mado by himself.
