PRESENTATION TO DR. LEMON.

Wellington, Wednesday. Tho presentation already Bpoken of, was made to Dr. Lemon this morning by the Postmaster-General on behalf of the officers of the Department. Mr Ward spoke at some length, reviewing Dr Lemon's career. The Premier also spoke in flattering terms of the latb Superintendent of Telegraphs. There was a largo attendance of officials, and the function took place in the accountants' long room, which was decorated for the occasion,
