CRICKET.
Excelsior Club,
A well-attended meeting of tho Excelsior Cricket Club was held at Mr J, Williams' rooms last evening.
The following members were elected for the ensuing year;— President, Mr J. Wickcns: Vice-Presi-dents, Messrs Hughes, Eton, Green, Dalrymplo, J. Williams, W. 11. Jackson, and W. Williams; Captain Mr.E. Harland, Vice-Captain, Mr W, Johnston, Secretary and Treasurer, Mr A. C. Nicol, Committee, Messrs Baggo, Woller, Mason and Wickens.
The subscription was fixed at 5s for lads over 15, and 3s under that »go.
i'. The following new members were elected: Messrs F. Mowlem, F. Worsfold, C. Arton, M. Weller, F, Wise, 11. Cameron, Cashion, I3oddington aud Johns.
