GREYTOWN FOOTBALL CLUB.

Annual Ball,

Unlike their football rivals in Masterloii, the Grcytown footballers believe in entertaining their lady friends at their social functions, and the annual Ball held lust evening was a great success. 'lhe Palace Hall was decorated most elaborately for the occasion, and _ some fifty couples tripped the light fantastic on the lloor, whilst the galleries were lilted ivilh onlookers. Visitors to present from all parts of the district, and the committee of management did nil in their power to ensure the enjoyment of their guests. The floor was in capital order, showing that a great deal of care and attention had been bestowed upon it, and the music provided _by Messrs Smith, Yaruham, and Maguire, was all that could be desired. An excellent supper,given by the ladies, faithfully upheld the reputation of the Grcytown folk, and Mr J. £, Hornblow and his Committee are to be congratulated upon the happy result of their efforts. Messrs U, Bright and H. 0. Tully acted as Masters of Ceremony, and all the arraugemonts were carried out without a hitch Visitors were loud in their praises of the excellence of the musical portion of the programme, (lie lime and choice of selections being perfect. '
