Had he visited the stations and collected his facts at firsthand homight i liavo been able to supply information of some value. Pottering about Masterton for a couple of days was not of the slighest use to him in getting at the real facts of the ease. Perhaps, however, the Government does not want to count the unemployed in the up-country districts ?
