FOOTBALL.
[By Damocles.]
Threo very interestingmatches are to be played in the Wairarapa tomorrow, and will go a long way towards deciding the champion teams —both senior and junior—for the year. The principal fixture in which mostinterest is taken is the Greytown-Red Star contest to be playedat Greytown, and as the teams are equally matched, a great game will doubtless ensue. Masterton meet Carterton upon the latter's ground, and upon last week's form the former should have an easy victory. Featherston play the second Stars on the Park Oval, and all thoso who have seen the forinor play, have great confidence in their ability on the football field. It is a new Club but they have players included who are worthy of a pjace in any senior team in the district. On tho last occasion tho Stars defeated them by 15 points to 12 and as both teams include inevitable scoring men a fnsi and brilliant game should be witnessed.
