Yesterday's Match.
A match for a Challenge Cup presented by Mr E. M. D. Whatman, the above Club's President, was fired yesterday, resulting in a win for Mr J. J. Mackersoy, Mr M, Meredith taking the second prize (L3los) and Mr J. Hives L2. The details of the shooting are as follows: H'c'p Number yds. of birds. J. J, Mnckersoy 28 111101111111 J. M. Holmes 20 1100100 A. P. Whatman 20 001011 'E.H.Waddington2l 0101100 A. sweepstake match (3 birds, first miss out) was next fired, Messrs W. Wardell, J. J. Breeds, J. Longstnff, and Cockbum-Hood killing all their birds, and in firing off Mr Wardell missed, the others killing thoir birds and dividing the sweep.
