W bmixgtox, Wednesday. The Marino Department has received information that the schooner Christine, owned by Captain Smith, of Auckland, and bound from Ilokianga to Napier with telegraph poles, was totally wrecked at the mouth of the Waitofara River on Monday,and tho ciew consisting of six men, were drowned, Later, Hawmu, Wednesday. The schooner Christine was found on the beach at themouth of tho Wuitotara river. About a mile and a half further along the beach, two of the ship's boats wero found, The schoonorlmd been leaking, and the holes had been plugged with blankets. There are no traces of the crow, but it is considered probable that all are somowhere 011 shore.
