A COItIU'SMXDKXT of OUI'S Wants to know whether thistles arc included in the Noxious Weeds ]W, We have mislaid our copy of this curious measure, but Ave fancy they are not tabooed under it, because there is a, general impression, that the Ministry is partial to thistles.' We do not know what weeds are to be deemed noxious, but we have some idea as to certain ones which ought to be put into the schedule, The Seddonian fores for example do a lot of n'ischief, while Reeves' Labour I'oMtois a rank poison, and is almost as great a curse to the land as McKenzic's gmmiUel, to say nothing of Ward's pennyroyal, a diaphoretic from which the Colony has now got very weak. The cultivation of N6xi r ous Weeds of this kind ought to be restrained under very heavy penalties,
