Wedding at Masterton.
A wedding of more than usual interest was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, by the l!cv. A, V, Grace, at noon to-day, the principals being Mr Walter Charles Perry-cld-cstson of Mr Walter Perry, of Masterton, and one of the most prominent and popular athletes in tlio district—and Miss Annie JaiinYatc§, fourth daughter of the late Mr Henry Yates, of Masterton. The church was packed long boforethc hour fixed for the ceremony, and numberswere obliged to content themselves with a glimpse of thewedding party as it entered and left the Church. Die service was fully choral. Mr W, Ford presided at the organ aud played the " Wedding March. Tlio bride—who was given away by |ier brother, Mr Edward Yates—looked remarkably fell. Sho was attired in a vej-y jiaiidsome cream embossed silk dress," frjinijied wjtji brpcljc and silk laco, with the usual wreath, veil and orango blossoms. She also 'carried'a very beautiful bridal show.cr bouquet!' Four bridesmaids wcro iij attendance,
tlio Misses Blanclio. Perry ami Amy Yates, dressed in groy Bilk with pink, with cream hats trimmed with pale pink roses aud silk lace, each wearing a fine gold brooch set with amethyst, tlio gift of the bridegroom; and the Misses Ida Perry and Mabol Hare, dressed in pale pink easlimere, with white felt hats aud cream lace,each wearing gold brooches with initials set ill pearls,also the gift of the bridegroom. Among the wedding guests were tlio bride's mother (Mrs A. B.
