Tho average attendance at tho local Public School is 243, with 311 scholars on tho roll. A Committee has been appointed to plant around tho School grounds a nuniborof ornamental trees from Parkvale Nursery, the gift of Mr J. Blomqiiist, The School library, which has only been started a few months, is becoming of quito respectable proportions, ninety-one books, direct from Home, having just been added. All books ordered nro paid for, and a cash balance of £l6 remains in hand. A Sydney house has been written to for a catalogue, with a viewtoordering a further supply.
