Pahiatm, Thursday, No loss than six prohibition orders were applied for to-day here, The air is full of libel and other heavy legal actions, the outcomo of recent occurrences here, There is said to be ono or moro legal firms about to establish themselves bore, and according to appearanco there will bo work for them.
Business is dull and tradesmen complain that under the uncertainty of Government action, neither they nor the settlers caro to extend thoir operations. Through-out tho Bush District everyone wonders what nunc the Seddon league will spring next.
