Niasox, Monday. • Tho Junior representative match, Nolson v Wairarapa, was played at Trafalgar Park, and was won by the latter by three points to nil. In the first spoil Thompson ran round all the opposing backs and scored, Wairarapa had tho best of the gamo all through, both forwards and backs proving too fast for their opponents. Undorjordinnry circumstances tho Wairarapa team should have won by twenty points, Jeffries, Sheen, McCarthy and Galloway getting over the line, but tho tries were disallowed. Just before the call of half time, from a forward rush Wool ley secured a try, The Bush had all the best of tho first spell, and on several occasions only nn accident prevented them scoring. In the second spell A. Carter, by a magnificent run from half-way through the opposing team, touched down near tho corner Hag, and Griffiths placed an undeniable goal. There was no further score. The visitors played a fine combinedgame, passed splendidly, and kicked with judgment; their forward rushes/too, were very good. In the second spell they completely out-matched their opponents.
