MASTERTON MASONIC BALL.

A Ball under tlio auspices of the Masterton Masonic Lodge, No, 19, N.Z.C., was held in the Drill Hall last evening, a pleasant company assembling, Several visitors were present from Carterton and the Bush, but the inclement weather deterred a number of country friends from other parts, putting iu an appearance, The Hall was prettily decorated under tlio direction of the popular Secretary, Mr William Sellar, and excellent music was supplied by the Masterton Orchestra, under the leadership of Bro. A, yon Keisenberg. Tho floor was in splendid condition, and dancing was kept up with great spirit until about 2,30 a,m, An exceptionally nice supper was provided by Masterton's veteran caterer, Bro. J, Wickens, and that the good things were appreciated, was evidenced by tho manner in which they disappeared.
