A letter linn bcon received from a pioneer of tho New Australian settlement in Paraguay, in which the writer draws a doleful picture of the condition of Lane's party, who left the settlement, The trouble, it appears, arose' because the second batch of immigrants wished to depart from the Constitution, Tho writer considers that tho second batoh nro making a tool of Kidd, and that further troublo is likely to arise, i ■ :
Londox, July 30. Gilbert Casey, one : of tho now Australians, who has returned from Paraguay, asserts that tho colonists are satisfied with their position, and are gradually developing their holdings. Ho denies that there is any I distress amoug them.
