Report,
Wo had agood eutry of sheep and cattle at our regular sale yesterday (Wednesday), at Jlastorton, and the business was brisk throughout, buyers bidding freely. In somo lines of sheep the top prices of the season ruled. Fat wethers, 'l2s 9d; fat ewos, lis j forward wethers, lis sd; two-tooth storo wethers, 9s lOd; empty cull ewes,' 3s lOd to 5s 2d; ewes in lamb, Cs 9d to 8s Cd; hoggets, small, 4s Cd to 5s (id; foward bullocks, £5 10s to £slss; good ' storo steers, 97s Gd; two year old steers to 20 months, 655; two yearold heifers, 7Gs to 82s Cd; dairy heifers, 90s; cows, 90s to £6 10s; yearlings (mixed), 40s to 51s; good calves, 28s to 345; small ditto, 22s to 265; draught horses, ordinary sorts, £7 10s to £l3; hacks, £4 to £lO. Pigs wcro a little better tlmn last sales—slips, 8s Gd to 13s, We have enquiries for good hoggets and store wethers and owes in lamb.
