FEATHERSTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent,)
Saturday. At the conclusion of the ball yesterday morning it was announced that there would bo another dance in the evening at one shilling entrance fee; Though the weather was somowhat threatening last night, the danco was well patronised, £7los being taken at the door. As the floor was not crowded there was a very enjoyable evening spent by all.
Tho takings at the door for the Inaugural Ball amounted to nearly £29, more than realizing the most sanguine expectations.
Now that tho ball is over people are busy working up the Church of England social, which is to be held on Tuesday next.
