(By Our Own Correspondent). . Thursday,. The usual monthly meeting of the School Committco took placo last evening. Tiio Treasurer reported a credit balance of 13s 2d, Accounts amounting to £3 3s 4d were passed for payment. It was resolved that tho Ist August sliWid iMjfchooj holiday that boing Arbor Day, j A meetingof tho milk suppliers of tlioN.Z, Dairy Farmers' Union, -ps held yesterday afternoon. Messrs CoiyUdy and Brown, Directors' of the Company were present, as well as the Secretary, Mr Koberts. ' A lengthy; discussion on the moving of the Featherston factory to Wellington took place. It was resolvod that it should be left to the Directors, but tlicy wero naked to givo earnest consideration to tho economical working of this district and to see whether tho district warrants, two creameries. .'
