Constable Collerton, after a smart chase up the coast in'pursuit of Charles Maloney, succeeded in captiiringhimatGleiicocHeis supposed to be one of the gang who broke iiito the Makuii Hotel on the night of the Gthinst., when the proprietor was absent attending the licensing meeting nt Masterton. Maloney was remanded to Pahintua for trial,
