Losnox, Juno 20, SirGeorgo Grey has been entertained nt luncheon by the National Liberal Club. _ The Marquis of Ripon, who presided, referred in eulogistic terms to the aged,statesman, Sir George Grey, in replying, urged the Government to promote federation between Great Britain, tlio colonies and America, far common, objects, leaving local Government intact. . At the National Liberal Club the Marquis of Bipon, in proposing the health of Sir George Grey, said that tho lattcr's career revealed something of the real secret of the unity of the Empire, and ho heartily welcomed, him as a great Englishman and as a great Liberal.
