\ In the Wairarapa district during the past season, numberless small settlers have to our knowledge suffered considerable inconvenience,and in some cases loss by the suspension of the ordinary trading operations of the Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company. Of course while the Company was under a cloud thoy did not feel confidence, in entrusting to it their wool and produce, and though they found " others" willing to not for them, tho "others "did not do quite as much for them as their old friends, tho Loan and Mercantile The announcement of the reconstruction of the Company, and its resumption of business lins been ono of the best pieces of news they have heard of for a long time, for thoy wanted it back again badly.
