Monday, Ameeting of the General.Committee of the Wairarapa Pastoral' Society was held on Saturday, ■lB members being present,'including the President, Mr Buchanan. The principal business was arranging the programme for tho coming show, which was done on the basis of last year, Stewards and canvassers were appointed, It was resolved that all protests bo iii writing 'accompanied by £1 deposit. A committee was appointed to sec to the erection of new dog kennels and pig pens, plough the oya|, and other improvements. Tho question of new pro'duce sheds was adjourned for 12 months. An offer from Mr P. Freeth to provido for planting trees on the showgrounds was declined oniaccount of insufficient space. ; : !
