Meeting at Wooduille,

; WooimuE, Monday, At a meeting on Saturday night, to consider the unemployed question, resolutions were passed asking the Government to open ; up relief works, during the winter months, and that a' co-operative bnshfelling scheme be introduced in tlio district. Also that steps be taken to acquire some of the large 1 cstato in the southern portion of Hawkey Bay, for Villago Settlements and small farms, to absorb a portion of the unemployed population. The names of thirty men were , handed in as being unablo to obtain work.
