EXTRAORDINARY STORMS.

Great Damage to Property in Vienna. . Yiekxa, June 9, The city has'been visited by hail-, storms,of fearful severity. Half (i million windows have ;been smashed, white parks and gardens have been devastated in all direo* tions. Telegraph wires were razed during tlio storm, mid,.buildings damaged, Thousands of birds wore in the storm, and killed before they could reach shelter.' .

Similar storms passed over Presburg, Obenbury, and Croatia. flic hailstone's were as large as pigeons' eggs, and c»tno down in thick showers.

A battery of artillery which was overtaken by tho storm in Vienna snffercd severely, 30 ofthemenheing disabled and ono killed.
