Thursday. Ajoint committee, of theTaratahiCarterton and Fcatherston Boad Boards, inspected the protective works at Waiohinc bridge. Damage had been done by a large log striking the hank, and to repair tho damago would cost. £3O. It was resolved the work he undertaken under the supervision of Mr Stewart, engineer to the 'Fcatherston Board.
