Taino and Co. report on (lie market for the week ending 31st May Fat Sheep.—'flie market shows an increased tone and demand, for good ■weighty sheep arc saleable at and for, prime wethers, 13s to 13s fid i fair and medium weights, 10s to 12s; prime ewes, 10s to lis 6d, and inferior sorts 1 s to Bs.

Siobe. Sheep.—Very few changing hands and demand is slack; prices remain at last quotations. Lambs are enquired after aud prices range from Cs to 9s for best, others os to os Cd.

Fat Catiie —lieally prime beef is enquired after, but medium quality is, wo might say, in over supply. We quote: Primo beef, 18s to 10s; medium quality, 163t0 17s Gd per lOOlbs. STOBE!CATTK.-Nodcninnd at present. Wo quote good milk cows tt to £1; heifers £3 10s to £5; wcancrs, 21s to 255.

Hoesb Mabket,—Wc held our usual weekly Bale on Saturday Inst, with a fair entry, composed principally of light harness and hacks, The demand is at, present Krad to young sound horses stiitnbleTo? express and light harness work, and a consignment of this class would find sale at prices from £l2 to £l7. Wo quote young draughts £2O to £2l; mcdiis, £l2 to £18; harness horses (young and broken), £l2 to £l7; hacks, £8 to £l2; for good sorts and others,'£2 and upwards, Siieepskixs.—Sheepskins arc selling well, and for really good skins an excellent demand exists. Wc quote, butcher skins, to 3s, and others 2s Cd; dry country lots,' sell readily at and from 21d to 4d per lb, according to quality, • Hides.—No change in the markct,and all lots sell at last quotations. Babbit Skins.—Best autumns arc worth 7d to BJd.i summers ami others, 2d to 6d per lb.
