Times,] _ Sik, —Surely it is time some action was taken to abate tho disgust ing nuisance caused, by the Borougli Council—especially during the lasf fortnight—in supplying gas to' ionBurners, It is now impossible to sit in a room where gas is used without leaving both windows and doors open to cany off the fumes, It would seem that the Council, not satisfied with ignoring tho requirements of decency in the matter qf sanitary drainage now ecok lo make it impossible for ordinary mortals to live under their rule, Councillors'; please bestir yourselves anaVearn the appreciation of > , " A Victim,";
