A Schooner Ashore.
(By Tclegraj)li—Press Association). Wellington, Tuesday. A schooner, supposed to be tho "Alert,".from Lyttelton to Graymouth, was driven ashore at Lyoli's Bay, in tho gale this morning. Sho lies on the sandy beach, and all the crew are safe. Latest, The schooner ashore is the "Alert" Men with produce. She stranded at 8,30. As the beach is soft' it is expected 6hc can be got off.
