Concert at Greytown, (From Our Own Correspondent.) A social was held nttheForesters' Hiill last evening, ineonnectionwith the Anniversary of the above, The attendance was very good, considering the boisterous state of the weather, the fair sex being particularly well represented, The Brass Band intended playing a few times opposite the hall, but owing to the rain only threo members turned up so this was dispelled with. Tho proceedings were opened by tho Bov, C, Murray, who commented upon the satisfactory financial position of the Church. He hoped equal progress hadbeenmadespiiitually. Tho following programme was submitted to the ntmost-credit of performers:—Overture, McKenzie family.; 6ohg, " Out on tho Deep," Mr Black;song, "The Bonnie Bauks of Loch Leveu," Miss Johnston; song, "Sunshine and Rain,"'Mr

Gant j violin duet, "English Airs,'! Misses McKenzio; song, "Resting,"' Mrs 'Mathers; duot,,'" Army and Navy,": Messrs ißla'ok and Bowse; song, "Gin a Body Meet a Body," A humorous address was given by the Rev. J. K. Elliott, and refreshments banded round to the audience, the announcement of'the' latter, item being particularly applauded. A most enjoyable evening was spent, the party breaking up shortly after ten o'clock with " Auld Lang Syne." Votes of thanks to the Indies who' [provided refreshments, to the periormors, and the Rev.. Mr Elliott, wero carried by acclamation.
