Judges Conolly and, Kiohmond nourred, Judge Denniston, before whom e oase was tried, said there was not o slightest doubt at any stage of o proceedings of the guiit of Burss. Although he was only arged with misdemeanour, practilly. the offence of which he was avicted was a serious felony of iking a throat to obtain money by urging a person with a crime. The le was accordingly made absolute.
