' (From Our Own Correspondent.) _ Kumeroa is agitating for the erccj tion of a dairy factory. The settlers promise 300' cows, but do not feel equal to the question of erecting the factory by co-operation. Rabbits are causing much uneasiness amongst sheep farmers in that district, asj notwithstanding the ; rabbit fence erected between Wairarapa and Hnwke'a Bay, tho festive rodonfc finds the means of getting through, aud 1 was informed during many as ten rabbits have been bagged in one day,
