GREYTOWN NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent) It'ltlDAY. A girl named Ethel Ashworth aged 12 fell from a trolly on Mr W. Burt's old tramline, at Whitamannka near Morrison's Bush, on Wednesday and snstaided a compound fracture of the leg. She was conveyed to tho Grcytown Hospital whore she was attended by Dr Bey.
A skating contest of five milos, for £lO aside was held in the Greytown Palace Hall last Wednesday evening, between Pat McDonough and Angus McAlpine. The competitors had to go '240 times round and occupied forty-five minutes, Owing to a disputo as to the scoring, the stakes were handed back, They will be doubled and skated for on June 2nd.
