li/lr F. H. Wood's Tarntahi Sale. MrF, H. Wood held his usual fortnightly stock sale at the Taratahi yards yesterday, and reports of the same as follows:—The number of stock yarded was considerably in es> cess of that advertised. The attend, ance of the public was good, but buyers were conspicuous by their absence, and consequently bidding was not brisk. The quality of the sheep was not as good as at last sale, and the prices not so high, The following is a quotation of prices realised : SilKEP.—Fat wethers to 10s lid; good store ewes and wethers, 8s 6d; ewes in lamb, Is to 4s 2d. Cattle.—Calves, 25s to 27s Gd; dairy cows, 80s to 108s. There is still not much demand foJ horses, a couple of hacks only bein J sold at £7 5s Od and £8 10s Od, I
