FEATHERSTON NOTES.

The approach to the platform at the Railway Bt&tion sadly needs a couple of loads of gravel, there being two Urge puddles of water through which passengers have to pass to get on to the platform.
It iB a pily that the contractors for the new Town Hall should be allowed to let their horses roam about in the reserve, damaging the trees, which haye just got to a nice size, The funeral of the late Mrs C. Cundy took place on Sunday after' noon, and was followed by nearly three of Groytown, performed the funeral ceremony. The funeral of the late Mr John Shaw Aron place on Saturday afternoon. Th'e coffin was followed by about a dozen of the deceased'sfriends. The funeral service was performed by the Jftev. J. Lymburn, of Alartinborough.
The Bible which was in use in tbe B.M. Court this morning was a good liied family one, and it took the witnesses all their time to hold it in their two hands.
