PAHIATUA—THURSDAY. (Below Messrs A. Reeso and J, Hughes, J.P.'s), DRUNKS, William Maclntire, charged with being drunk and using abusive language, was fined 5s and 9s costs, or in default 48 hours. James Halt, charged with drunkenness and using insulting language, was similarly dealt with, ASSAULT. Timothy O'Gorman was charged with assaulting George Avery. He was fined 20s and 24s costs, end hound over to keep the peace for 6 months, in two sureties of £25 each and himself in or in default G months imprisonment. BREACH OF THE PEACE. For committing a breach of the peace, by fighting in a public tlior ouglifare, Andrew Neilson was fined 10a and 10s costs, or in default seven days, The fine was paid, Jorgus Hansen for a similar offence was fined a like amount.
