Jackson, the Secretary of the Coiiversaziuno Committee, is to he heartily congratulated on tho success of the ovening, and ihat ho had been helped by willing hands wna shown by tho completeness of all the arrangements ami tho elaborate and skilful decorations. Excellent musio was voluntarily Eupphed by Mr A. von Keiscnbern's Band and (lancing was kept up until a lato hour. In tho earlier part of the ovening tho concert room was crowded, and tho following wellknown local singers were most heartfly applauded for their efforts. " Thero is a fluwor." Mr W.
