ARRIVAL OF THE NEW WATERBURY.
It is not often that the arrival ol n shipment of goods in New Zealand waters is so generally welcomed as the arrival of the present parcel of Waterbury watches. Dr. Pollen stated in the Legislative Council that 95,000 Adum Maies pay the whole of this colony's taxation,! maintains its (Ml Service, run its railways and publio works ami form tho nucleus of the colony's prosperity; mil yet to this very limited population over 120,000 Wateiibubys havo been sold and delivered, and the shipment now anding consists of 2880 Watehbubvs which is followed by tho Elinor Vernon, duo 2880 Mobe, all sold already to the wholesale trade who have been waiting supplies for from threo to four months, Largo as these figures me two other shipments aro to arrive before Christmas and wo venture to affirm that no other watch can show a sale in New Zea land during tho period covered sinco the Waterbury advent of One to Eacu Hundred Watebbobys.
