Coxeyites, Anarchists and Socialists

About 400 Ooxeyites, headed by a H^rrd'Afto 1 carrying banners inscribed withEnacEson financiers inched in blasphemous language, matched to the grounds of the Capitol to-day, The entrance was barred by the police. Coxey, accompanied by his wife and daughter, was in front of the procession, His daughter, fantastically attired as the goddess of peace, rode a white horse, Coxey and another leader namid Brown jtiqped over the wall surrounding the Capitol,but were pursued and captured before they could ascend the steps of tho building or speak. Both were hustled out of tho precints whereupon the mob became excited, "flbd were eventually dispersed by the police, after the free use of batons. The movement was an entire fiasco. Borne 7000 unemployed committed excesses at Cleveland, Ohio, and several persons were injured. London, May 1, A large bomb with an unlighted fuse was found at the entrance to the Guildhall Library to-day. The Duchess of Connaught was inspecting the pictures in the (itiildhall at the time,. May 2, The police were hoaxed in connection with the find of the supposed dynamite bomb at tho entrance to the Guildhall Library, the missile proving on closer examination to be perfectly harmless,
London, May 1, The Socialists and Anarchists hold meetings in Hyde Park to-duy, at which speeches were made affirming the solidarity of their sympathy with the cause of Labour. ■
The police dispersed tho Anarchists and seized their flags, May day was quiet in Europe, May 2.
Offing to the Anarchists, during their demonstration in Hyde Park yesterday, denouncing the police as lyiants, tho mob severely handled the orators and their friends, and they bad at last to appeal to tbe police for protection.
