We have received from Mr Archibald Sanderson, of Maaterton,'a cop; of a shilling handbook, entitled the containing a concise and well-arranged account of the political progress of the returns and useful information respecting the Electoral and Licensing Districts, the General Election polls, bye-elections and sketches of members of both Houses. It is a work whioh will be in demand in every editorial room throughout the colony, and by every local body and political asaooia* tion in New Zealand. We esteem it a feather in the cap of Masterton that a work, which will undoubtedly be studied with interest in all parts of New Zealand, should have been compiled, printed, Bnd published in tbis town.
