CASTLEPOINT ROAD BOARD.
Ordinary Meeting. A meeting of the Board was held on Saturday last. Present: -Messrs Maunsell (chairman), Langdon, Bellies, and Dalzioll. The minutes of ilie previous meeting were read and confirmed, Correspondence was read from the County Olerk with list of sections tranaferred.-Jrom Gasltepoint to Upper Taueru,—From saino applying for the rates from Messrs burling and 'Leach's properties for the Alfredlon district,—From Messrs Elder and Co, with list of sections sold.-From samo rofusmg offer made re-metal for Uriti Road. Mr Savage attended in respect to a road to his section and wished the bush felled on tlio road line in Makoia crei-k with the thirds due—the Board promised to ascertain the amount of accrued thirds and consider bis application.
Tho Clerk of Works'report was road and it was resolved that a further grant bo made for metalling and repairs on the BUckhill road. Also that the metal broken at Langdale be used to repair tho load over Elder's Hill.-That the rates paid by Messrs Burling and Leach ho handed over to Alfredton district pendtho transfer of their properties into that district.—l'hat the balance of the sum voted to tho County be spent in metalling at the big saddle on Tinui-Whakatahi road,—Accounts amounting to £57 4s Cd were passed for payment,
