The following feeling 'acknowledgment of the kindness extended to 'the shipsreoked orew of the Kiwi, by Mr and Mrs F. Moore, of Qlenburn, has jnat been received : Wellington, 14th April, 1894, Ma. and Mrs, F. Moori, Qlenburn.
Dkui Sik add Mmu.-We desire to express to jou our heartfelt thanks for your bounteous hospitality to ub after the wreck ol the" Kiwi." Especially wo wish to thank jour son, who, at suoh short notice, and so swiftly went with Mr Greenwood to Masterton on horseback, to inform our people in "Wellington. We are reminded that your father, Mr John Moore, housed and entertoinod the orcw and passengers of the " White Swan," which Bteamer was wreoked neat his station many yeats since, and It would appear that the father's mantle -has fallen on the son.
