Accident in the Bush.
A Lucky Escape Mr Robert Cameron, of Mews Cameron Bros, Te Ore Oro, was this morning the victim of a somewhat ttht aerions accident at his Mauriceville HMNfefty.i.woore he was engaged in blawojpNojr.,Tho hole not being made sufficiently large, be attempted to push down the powder with a stick, when by tome means the fuse exploded aud seriously injured the left aide of hia face and hia shoulder. HerodedowntotheOpaki and drove in from there to Maeterton, vhere Dra Hosking and Douglas attended to him. It was found that though i be face had been badly burnt, the injuries received were not so serioui as was at first anticipated. The eye fortunately has escaped any permanent injury, and considering the close proximity of Mr Cameron to the log, it may be considered a lucky escape.
