At a special general meeting of members of the Taratati-Carterton Hack Racing Club, held at the White Hart Hotel on Saturday, a ten yearn' lease of the course on' favorable termi ( ■was secured from Mr T, Ray, and it was decided to erect a grandstand and make other improvements forthwith.
